1. Inception (2010)

With the help of his companion's Cobb sets on an impossible corporate espionage job making this film truly a mind-bender.

2. Parasite (2019)

The 2020 Oscar winner for the best picture has to be on this list. The 2019 film Parasite directed by Bong-Joon-Ho is a remarkable example of a perfect film. The film dives into the story of the poor Kim family Jobless, hopeless and unmotivated living in poverty in a tiny basement apartment completely shifts their life when introduced to an affluent Park family. The Kim family cooking up an elaborate insidious scheme to scam the wealthy park family but things turn sour as the story unfolds revealing darker secrets residing inside the park house which makes us question this unique symbiotic relationship between the poor and wealthy.

3.Interstellar (2014)

Interstellar is an exceptional work of art directed by Christopher Nolan. The film sets place into in the future, the earth has become uninhabitable. Professor Brand(Michael Caine), a NASA physicist trying to work on an equation that can save humanity by taking humans to a new home outside their universe assemble a team of scientists/Engineers accompanied by a pilot Cooper(Matthew McConaughey) sets on a journey through a wormhole in search of a new home for the civilization.

4.The Shawshank Redemption (1994)

Based on the works of Stephen King, the story of a Hot-shot banker Andy Dufresne (Tim Robbins) is wrongfully imprisoned in the Shawshank prison for the murder of his wife and her lover for two consecutive life terms. The film beautifully showcases Andy’s torturous life being lonely, isolated and miserable later befriends a fellow prison mate developing a strong bond between them over the years and eventually finds a way to live his life at solace Which makes this movie an uplifting and satisfying prison drama with a fine performance and an inspiring tale of hope.

The film takes place in world war one, 1917 two British soldiers Lance Corporal Blake played by Dean Charles Chapman and Lance Corporal Schofield played by George Mackay must race against the time and cross over enemy’s territory to deliver a message that could save thousands of their fellow soldiers' life.

6.Call Me by Your Name (2017)

The film takes place in the summer of 1983, 17-year old Elio Perlman (Timothée Chalamet) is spending time with his family in Lombardy, Italy. Soon meets a young handsome doctoral student Oliver (Armie Hammer) who is working as an intern for Elio’s father. Exploring their friendship and desires towards each other forever changes their perspective towards life.
