1. Dimensions

The Note 10 series came in two sizes: the 6.8-inch Galaxy Note 10 Plus and the 6.3-inch Galaxy Note 10 this happened first time that Samsung has launched two Note devices. It has been confirmed that there will two Note devices this year too. Based on leaks, the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra is stated to have a 6.87-inch screen and the Note 20 will slot in below that with a 6.7-inch screen. Both the screens are bigger, here is to hoping Samsung keeps bezels and the total footprints as compact as possible given the display dimensions.

2. Cameras

The Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra will comprise of spec loaded camera system. The main camera is a 108-megapixel sensor with an aperture of f/1.8 with optical image stabilization (ois), a 12-megapixel ultrawide camera with an aperture of f/2.2, a 12-megapixel periscope zoom camera with an aperture of f/3.0, with up to 5x optical zoom. The big thing to take away from this is that Samsung faced a lot of autofocus issues with s20 Ultra which they have fixed with a new laser autofocus system. In addition, it will be able to record 8k video at 24 fps (frames per second) with stabilization. For the note 20 the camera system will include a 12 megapixel main camera with an aperture of f/1.8 with ois, a 12 megapixel ultrawide camera with an aperture of f/2.2, and a 64 megapixel telephoto zoom camera with an aperture of f/2.o with ois with 3 times optical zoom.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra will have a 6.87 inch WQHD+ (1440px3200p) Curved display, with a pixel density of 509 ppi(pixel per inch) and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. But that was the case with Samsung galaxy s20 series the new tech here is that for the first time Samsung will use LPTO(Low Temperature Polycrystalline Oxide) technology which basically has a variable refresh rate of 1Hz – 120Hz which no other phone has. This tech helps in reducing the battery drain cause by high refresh rate screens. For the Samsung Galaxy note 20 it will have a 6.7 inch screen with a FHD+ (1080px2340p) flat display, with a pixel density of 385ppi and a refresh rate of 60Hz.

4.New S-pen features

Samsung have made the s-pen rival the apple pencil. The major selling point of the apple pencil was its latency, Samsung have improved the latency of the s-pen from 26msec to 9msec, which is the same as the apple pencil. Samsung have added new s-pen features like double click the s-pen button to use it as a pointer, press and hold the s-pen button to scroll through, double press and hold to switch between laser and spotlight pointers, press the button once to select something on the screen.

5.Wireless Dex

Samsung have feature called Samsung Dex which basically turns your smartphone into a computer the oly thing you need is a monitor and a USB c cable but now Samsung are realizing a new feature with Note 20 series which will be able to operate Dex wirelessly so no need of a cable. This feature will be significant as not many people can afford a pc and a phone simultaneously but with this you only need a monitor and your phone.

6.Gorilla Glass 7

Samsung galaxy note 20 ultra will bethe first smart phone with a gorilla glass 7 also know as “Victus” on the display front panel it is said to be twice more scratch resistant from gorilla glass 6 and can survive a 2 meter (6.5 ft) drop.

7. Processor improvements

There have been major processor changes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ processor, which is essentially and overclocked version of the Snapdragon 865. But the main point is that this processor for the first time broke through the 3GHz barrier on a smartphone. Samsung has made some minor improvements like better software optimization for the ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, UFS 3.1 storage, and Bluetooth version 5.1, WIFI 6.1 etc.
